B & A Construction (Leicester) Limited are a family business proud of its history and independence with the ambition and drive to deliver intelligent solutions on time, within budget and to the highest standards.
Whilst we have been building for over 30 years, we are a modern thinking company and embrace current construction techniques whilst constantly striving to innovate and improve our product delivery service.
History
The company is presently managed by Shane Sutton, Tony Price and Michael Coles.
The business has always operated from Leicester, which gives a central base from which to cover the vast majority of our work within Leicestershire and surrounding Counties.
Today the company employs around 35 staff in a wide range of disciplines from project management through to construction operatives and has close links with its trusted and vetted supply chain.
People
B & A Construction believe that the reason we differ from many of our competitors is our people. We have a high proportion of directly employed trades people which gives us considerably more control than using only sub-contract labour, all of our site personnel are time served skilled craft operatives.
Our Management Team endeavours to ensure that all of our client’s expectations are achieved and surpassed.

Anthony Price MRICS MCIOB – Director
Tony joined B & A Construction (Leicester) Ltd in 1999. Tony has been instrumental in the successful growth of B & A Construction and has contributed to the company delivering projects on time, within budget and to a high standard. He is highly respected within the East Midlands for his construction knowledge and professionalism, delivering a wide spectrum of management skills including surveying and estimating, project procurement and project management.
Michael Coles ACIOB, Dip Business Management – Senior Quantity Survey, Project and Commercial Manager
Michael joined B & A Construction (Leicester) Limited in 2013 to head up the Quantity Surveying, Project Management and Commercial side of the business. Michael has already made a large impact on the company, his drive and ambition has seen an increase in turnover and the partnership of several new clients and stronger relationships with existing clients.
As Senior Quantity Surveyor and Project Manager, Michael demonstrates a depth of knowledge and understanding, providing practicable cost effective solutions in a challenging industry. Michael embraces every project with the same high level of enthusiasm and creativity, delivering projects that both we and our clients are proud of.

We also aim to register as many of our sites with the Considerate Constructors Scheme as possible.
